Volunteer Program Manager

In 2004 I was awarded an ASRT foundation grant and worked as a volunteer with the RAD-AID Asha Jyoti: Women's Healthcare Mobile Outreach Programme, in Chandigarh, India where I was tasked with teaching mammographic anatomy, clinical skills and quality control to technologists at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Center (PGIMER) in Chandigarh. In 2006 I was appointed Program Manager, RAD-AID India and continued my volunteer work evaluating the sustainability of the project and identifying areas of concern. While continuing my work with RAD-AID India, I also serving as a volunteer Program Manager, Mammography Technologist with RAD-AID USA Women's Health Access Initiative. The initiative started to address disparities in death rates from breast and cervical cancer among women of color in the United States
